My family recently viewed the documentary, Expelled, and would like to provide a couple of links for you to browse to learn about government bias in the field of science education. I have always thought of the education system as one that would nurture free expression of ideas. Students should be presented with all aspects of knowledge, theories, historical facts, etc., and allowed to form their own opinions of life and the world around them. I believe that, just as tax dollars should not be spent to establish religion in the classroom, tax dollars should not be spent forcing scientific theories upon our youth as fact in an effort to eliminate religion in society. Our youth are entitled to an educational experience that allows them to make informed decisions after they have been presented with all sides of any given issue and not just those held by liberal educators.

Not only do we need to hold our government leaders accountable, we need to hold those in educational leadership accountable. The United States was formed on the basis of the free expression of ideas. It is our responsibility to not allow those ideas to be taken from us or our children.
